“Pay no attention to the man behind the curtain!”
The wizard behind the lens of BTE Photography is Drew Walker. A Louisiana native, Drew grew up with an appreciation of the natural beauty in his home state. That has informed an aesthetic that embraces contradictions…the old with the new, rural and urban, fresh and rundown.
Though working mostly with natural light, Drew is quite comfortable in a studio setting. His interests range from model shoots – newborns, children, senior portraits, fashion, boudoir – to events like concerts, sporting events, parties, and dance recitals. He’s even happy doing commercial and marketing shoots. When not working for clients, Drew enjoys taking pictures of old buildings, trees, neon lights, and just about anything else.
If he’s not taking pictures, Drew is usually at a baseball game, playing his guitar, reading a book, or watching movies (the world is better in black and white).
